    His verse could’ve been better though. Like I mentioned, Red Leather is leaps and bounds better than Grippy. Future is no lyrical rapper. Same with his There I Go and Scared Money features. Cole fit the vibes of those. Grippy sounds sloppy and lazy. Put out a better verse or don’t agree to do songs like that.

    When yall think cole gon address all this s---?? Or they gon keep acting like ain’t s--- going on lol.. think he need to address the backtrack of 7 minute drill in more detail.. and all that been going on after.. or is he gon drop the fall off like nothing has been happening lol. Bruh need to sit down with Shannon sharpe or go on drink champs or something.. or drop a track addressing s--- like he always do. Ain’t no way bruh just gon let n----s play on his top and dirty up his name and legacy he built throughout the years… that n----- ib ain’t even addressed s--- lol.. I’m bout to dm that n----- like wassup with yall at dreamville. I’ve been giving him a lil pass tho since they do have more important life s--- going on, just losing his mother, but at this point I just don’t know

I would understand, but can’t nobody tell me cole didn’t slide on that grippy s--- lol, don’t say it’s the lyrics, cause he was spitting bars, even tho it was bout p---- lol.. I just don’t know dawg lol. If cole was really trash on that s--- I would admit, but I’m not hearing it .. that n----- cobain was trash on it , cole made it a lil better oof anything lol

    Yeah Cole needs a buffer song before The Fall Off. No hooks. Just him spitting for a few minutes and getting s--- off his chest regarding the beef, people doubting him and h--- even bring up how he fumbled on Grippy and will stick to his authentic self.

    Grippy actually makes me feel uncomfortable. My friend was playing it and I felt like I was being violated lol.

    This ain't gonna be popular but I really don't think he cares. I don't think he's online like that. I doubt his family and friends are bringing this s--- up to him. Maybe Ib would've been but since his mom passed away I doubt he cares much either. I know that's not how 99.9% of people would handle it. But we ain't Cole. I would imagine this whole thing pretty much guarantees that he will retire or take a long break after he drops the album. He doesn't f--- with fame or social media culture, just wants to put out his music and let it speak for itself. That's just not our world in 2024 but he's been trying to show the world another way basically since FHD. He's gonna be bummy, not do interviews, no be on social media, not do the things people think he should because that's just who he is. Hate it or love it.

    Yeah Grippy gotta be his worst verse/song he's been involved in lol. J Cole lost movement back up and running. All I think about after I heard that was the Ye bar, put J Cole on make the p---- dryyyy :laff:

    Yeah it seems like one of those loosies that Cole didn't mean to drop.and accidentally made it out.

    Since he apologised, every move is important. Personally, I'm looking at his music different now. The past couple of years, all he's been talking about he's the best out etc etc and has rowed back on the storytelling conscious stuff. The beef has taken all attention away from MDL and I'm not sure what he can really do on the Fall Off to come back and say he's the best (considering he's been talking about it for so long). Drake always gonna have his pop fanbase to prop him up and Kdot is now cemented as the boogeyman who noone wants to mess with. Coles position is looking kinda shakey at this point and I'm not sure I'm listening to his recent music the same right now

    Address all the s--- that’s been going on. Dive into why he backed out, why he apologized, why he has proven to be the best and whatever else is on his chest. Bars bars bars. Let it all out. That would put things at ease in terms of people thinking he’s soft and can’t be a goat anymore.

    Cole just needs to make Quality music, hits and stay away from using LGBTQ terms/slang in his songs.
