Jun 3, 2024 Grippy Cole, and now this from Drake??? Lmao this is hot a---. Kendrick cursed them boys anyways, back to Houdini
Jun 3, 2024 check this out. this one is definately an eminem or d12 leftover produced by Jeff Bass, later it's given to Swollen Members.
Jun 3, 2024 It’s the one song that stops the album from being near perfect. As well as d12s s-----y verses. It’s not even the song drips itself. It just doesn’t really fit the album imo. It sounds out of place. Kind of how stimulate was supposed to be on it but was removed last minute from being on the actual album and replaced with say goodbye to Hollywood. Stimulate isn’t a bad song but it wouldn’t have sounded right being on the Eminem show. They made the right choice replacing it and having it as a b side. They should have done the same with drips. But to each their own.
Jun 3, 2024 Interesting. If Em kept Bass for Encore he would have evolved his sound in a way better way, and properly from TES
Jun 3, 2024 The problem with Encore is Em stopped working with Jeff Bass and also Dr. Dre was lost like his dr. dre presents aftermath days.
Jun 3, 2024 they both had drug issiues and not talking to each other because of some problem between web entertaintment and interscope, also jeff got offended that eminem never shouted his name to thank in award speeches. anyway, after encore, they made peace and started to work together again. thats when they did "beautiful" (eminem), "gatman and robin" (50 cent), "drama setter" (tony yayo), "trapped" (proof), "lord have mercy" (lil scrappy), "peep show" (50 cent), "touch down" (ti), "lose my mind" (young buck), "lac motion" (cashiss), "crazy" (trick trick).... all are f---ing good songs and better than anything on encore.
Jun 3, 2024 Yeah he gave away a lot of his best beats too around that time before he started work on Encore. "Runnin" "Warrior pt 2" "Black Cotton" Yeah this makes sense you can tell most of these were made in the same era. Beautiful still stands out though. Makes you wonder what other Em solo songs they recorded together. Seems they worked together in 07 the most, surprised none of Jeffs stuff appeared on Re-Up, maybe they only worked together after its release. I wonder if Jeff was involved with any of the 4/5 different Proof tributes too.
Jun 3, 2024 I didn't say it wasn't weakest song on album But the album is just so good, that by comparison people s--- on Drips but it is still a fire song.
Jun 3, 2024 I'm no Youtube algorithm expert but for the people saying this is a big as Godzilla it doesn't seem very likely. Most Youtube views are generated in the first few days. Then it slows way down. They will be lucky to hit 100 million over the next couple months.
