Jun 28, 2024 I know I'm not saying anything new, but this silence makes no sense. At first I was confident the album would either be released or at least have the release date announced quickly after the huge success of Houdini, but I can understand a longer rollout if his team/the label was confident in their marketing plan, but instead they're just sitting back as the hype dies down. Now, best case scenario, they release another single with the hope it will do as well as Houdini did. If the plan was to release multiple singles why would you space the releases out so much that the hype from the first single has completely died down? Blink 182 released their comeback album with the original lineup last October 2023, and they had announced that album a year prior (October 2022). All throughout 2023 the fans were complaining about the wait, how their marketing plan was terrible, and how they were just leaving their fans in the dark. The difference is, once the true marketing blitz kicked off mid September 2023 they released a single September 21st then another October 5th then a third October 13th, and the album released October 20th and was #1 on Billboard if I remember correctly. My point being that fans in general tend to get anxious and blame the artist or management for having a s-----y marketing plan, but this Eminem plan actually IS s-----y. You don't start the marketing blitz just to let it die down. Makes no sense.

Jun 28, 2024 Because the album was not done or ready at the time. Announcement came with no release date and only a window so you’re complaining and moaning about nothing. The pre order has the cover art as a placeholder so clearly not ready yet at the time of the single came out.
