Jul 2, 2024 I gave it a 6/10 with the possibility of it being a 7/10 if it grows on me. I like the experiment with the beat here as Eminem has never really rapped on an atmospheric sort of beat like this before. However, I think this was ultimately the wrong song to do that on as the lack of heavy-hitting drums detracts from the bars even though it’s supposed to highlight the bars. I like BabyTron’s verse as he has some nice flows, rhyme schemes, and lines. I don’t care much for Big Sean these days and honestly when it gets to his verse in the song I kinda tune out but when I do pay attention his verse is actually kinda good too. I have no complaints about it other than I wish it was longer. The fact that there’s pretty much no stupid puns or unnecessary supersonic flows is refreshing. My admiration for the verse doesn’t hinge on those facts though. Some people are saying Eminem’s flow is choppy and off-beat but honestly it works for me for some reason. I also appreciate his confidence, he should talk his s--- sometimes “that man is a legend, b---- so am I!” It probably won’t be a perfect fit or anything, it seems like the only thing connecting it will be the “Shady gone” line or whatever it was.

Jul 2, 2024 I'm pretty optimistic with this project all things considered. Clearly Eminem has made the effort to kick every bad habit the fans have dogged him about. It just feels like he's taking music seriously again, and he's rapping with a point to prove.

Jul 2, 2024 Shame this is on the album. Taking away the little potential it had to be a classic album. Anyway... im still expecting a 7 - 7.5 em album here. Tobey is a dud though and ill never listen again lol.
