Jul 5, 2024 My whole Estates in the building. A reference again to his place in the house of hip hop. But also his whole state of Michigan, as he is repping the D by putting on 2 other Detroit based rappers. I slept on more floors than the Empire State Building. Obviously the number of floors for the biggest building in New York City, city of Skyscrapers. But also home of the birthplace of hip hop and Jay Z.but also sleeping on floors can also be interpreted as struggle and being homeless. Like his verse in Venom when he said he slept on the floor of the motel with bizzare and proof in 1997 before Dre signed him. Basically leading into his next line about having so many stories. He has stories about his struggle to make it as a rapper, but now he has stories like the Empire State Building floors. The Whole Scheme is a Struggle bar and a flex bar.

Jul 5, 2024 Another bar people might have missed is the John Manziel one. A Talented quarterback for Clevland. Yes a very direct choice since that’s MGK’s City. Manziel also was literally the odd man out after having an impressive highschool and college football career but being a flop player in the NFL. MGK peaked as a rapper in highschool and in his mid 20’s age range. But more interesting is that he boycotted the Hiesman ceremony this year and refuse to participate until Reggie bush got his trophy. Reggie bush played for the Detroit Lions. This year Reggie bush was reinstated with his 2005 hiesman trophy, after it being taken away in 2010. Reggie Bush put together one of the great seasons in college football history during his 2005 campaign. Coincidentally this was the year Eminem’s hiatus begun. Essentially Eminem verse here is talking about him taking back the belt and feeling like the odd man out, even tho he is the Goat.
