Jul 9, 2024 I personally don’t think leaks hurt quite the same these days! If a project only leaks say 2 days before it’s about to drop anyways, majority of casuals are lazy these days, they ain’t gonna want to have to extract the files and get convert them to Spotify/ apple or whatever… these people will simply just wait for 2 days. These people are the majority of people lol. With em and his fan base I would argue it is entirely worth the risk to try and get physicals into stores and to online retailers and ready for Fridays release date because I think ems prowess with selling physicals would far outweigh the negative of it probably leaking 48 hours early. That would likely make for a f---ing massive first week sales spot which I’m assuming is what the label cares about. Then again I don’t work in marketing so wtf so I know? And they won’t do it anyway so it’s basically a pointless discussion I’m having here with myself and anyone else who happens to be paying attention.
