Jul 12, 2024 The fact he has to use to Ai to sound like previous versions of himself is unique in itself. Most humans sound the same for most of their lives and could do a good imitation of their younger voice with ease. The fact he has 3 distinguished voices in his career is pretty mind blowing. Nas and Jay have sounded the same from day 1 and could create a song from their first albums and wouldn’t know.

Jul 12, 2024 I REQUIRE MORE LISTENS But so far I'm kinda conflicted, I understand the concept but I wish it didn't end as anticlimacticly with the worst songs on the album at the end. Also the recycling of the same 3 or 4 names on every song got kind of grating but on the flip side most of the jokes were funny. The flows were mostly great and I liked the way most of the music sounded, I'm surprised he still had the TES flow in him. The features were mostly solid except for the first part of EZ's verse, could have given it to any other shady member. I need like two more listens to slap a score on it but I like it much more than I'm letting on, it's just the bad sticks out like a sore thumb because the rest is good!
Jul 12, 2024 FIrst focused listen finished. Overall I have no idea what to think of the album. I'm so d--- puzzled. I notice quality in every aspect and yet something feels weird. I have no idea how dfk to rate it. And unlike other albums, I feel like I forget the songs on here instantly, its not that they dont have replay value, I literary forget em. So happy JID is on the album, tho the song coulda been crafted differently. Still I think JID had one of the best verses I heard in recent times.

Jul 12, 2024 I wanted to pop in here for the first time in a while to give my initial thoughts. After one listen-through, I wanted to like it a lot more than I did. IMO, most of the production was meh, the “I hate midgets, fat people, and Gen Z” thing got stale, and there wasn’t as much of the album concept woven in as I thought there’d be. Maybe after multiple listens it will grow on me more.
