Jul 12, 2024 Well Recovery had an uplifting concept and theme, said fun s---, but also had incredible hits. Look at award success. h---, look at Grammys. What Em albums were up Album of the Year? Oh yeah, Marshall Mathers LP, Eminem Show, and Recovery. Any basic fan that's not a STAN who remembers Eminem's music....those are the main THREE that stand out. And Slim Shady LP the original a bit. Those are EASILY his top 4.

Jul 12, 2024 Just needed to pad out the concept stuff better. As finishing it so early was just a getaway for him to put typical Eminem songs on there, which comes across as what he really wanted to do, when it should have been invested all in with the concept of the album.

Jul 12, 2024 I really like the concept of TDOSS, but i now have doubts on its replay value, mostly as no native speaker. The three quoted songs has something I can't explain. Maybe the beats. I think it is. As in TES or Relapse. I do not know which beat I'll easily remember on TDOSS (the catchy ones ? Houdini or Brand new Dance). Do you see what I mean ?
Jul 12, 2024 Yeah at the end of Guilty Conscience 2, Marshall shoots Slim Shady… he had to k--- Slim in order for Marshall to survive and get sober. Temporary & Somebody Save Me are from the perspective of if Em died from drugs back in 07 and let Slim win the fight.

Jul 12, 2024 Respect! I mean I love this new Eminem album. I'm not DISSING because I've my RANKING 9 outta 11. But Recovery just had a great balance of GREAT singles like Love the Way you Lie, Not Afraid, No Love, and an incredible Space Bound. This album doesn't besides Houdini. Eminem also had (to me) songs like Going through Changes and Seduction I like more PERSONALLY then any song on this project. I loved Cold Wind Blows and the real s--- of talking like Talkin 2 Myself as well. This album is GOOD and I love that he was pushing buttons and appreciate that concept this album. It just doesn't have the "OVERALL GOT EVERYTHING" Recovery had besides a funny song and some controversial s---. MMLP and Eminem Show the 2 Classics that had EVERYTHING in one and well balanced. Just because of my ranking, doesn't mean I'm dissing the album haha. I very much enjoy the album. It's almost like ranking one of the best NBA player of all times best seasons in order. Just because one is lower then another, doesn't mean it wasn't a fantastic season haha
