Jul 13, 2024 why is it so hard for people to get the concept of the album? He didnt try to offend any of them. If he tried to offend them he would have succeeded, he wouldnt say he is trying to so obviously
Jul 13, 2024 Also, my 2cents. I really like the vibe of this album, lapsing in and out of shady to indicate (imo) which parts of his verses are coming from slim give it something very enjoyable to me. Looks indeed like Renascence until GC2 are meant to be a loop as well, which again. Crazy. I gave it 9/10 mostly because of what happens after GC2 (I like the songs, they simply throw me out of the concept) and the Road Rage hook which I don't really like.
Jul 13, 2024 So you basically don't like modern day Em. Which is fine. That's why I love this album so much, because there's a lot of the old Em and very little of the new one.
Jul 13, 2024 you see how easy it is to offend someone ? Slim was just trying to offend Marshall and scare him.
Jul 13, 2024 agree 100% Solo. Im sure he doesnt like Kanye's antics too btw also the beat selection was awful he should have got some Metro beats
Jul 13, 2024 The outro on GC2 with Em telling Paul about PC police and quadriplegics over that sentimental music is hilarious man
Jul 13, 2024 If it was on Encore I'm 100% sure it'd be thrown in the trash pile along with the other drugged out songs on there. But the beat is kinda addictive and his flow is still effortless compared to now.
Jul 13, 2024 Agreed! I have it in my top 5 and it keeps getting better with every listen! I had Recovery at 4 but had to move it out and I really like Recovery because it came at the right time in my life. 1.The Eminem Show 2. Marshall Mathers LP 3. Slim Shady LP 4. The Death of Slim Shady 5. Recovery
