Jul 14, 2024 1. RENAISSANCE - Cool intro, TES vibes. Durag Shout. Full of energy, perfect. 2. HABITS - This that Side B Em, catchy and saying wild fun s---. Not great, but it's ok and he went in after the beat switch 3. TROUBLE - just a skit 4. BRAND NEW DANCE - Encore type beat and voice? It's fun but I could have lived without it tbh 5. EVIL - So evil 6. ALL YOU GOT (SKIT) - Another cool skit 7. LUCIFER - Remember when he went at his haters over and over again? same thing but saying "offensive" things. Why does he go so hard after beat switches? maybe he should just pick good beats from the start. Not bad though 8. ANTICHRIST - Man, were good producers on vacation? This reminds me of MMLP2, not in a good way Biz the first guest that belongs here. Whole song over Biz beat would have been way better. 9. FUEL - Em killed it and I love the hook, but I prefer collabs where Em uses his calm flow, they usually are the ones that work best 10. ROAD RAGE - This album needed better guests 4 sure. Broken flow also, meh. This man loves the Jenner fam more than I love Kendall. Cash Money shout caught me by surprise. Reeve again? 11. HOUDINI - Classic by now, best song on the album by far also a classic video. Still feel like he owes us physical copies of the single. Also glad he performed it live, what a performance deserved to go number 1, Paul f----- up. 12. BREAKING NEWS (SKIT) - Another skit, feels like old times. MS shout out 13. GUILTY CONSCIENCE 2 - This is where s--- gets real, same topics again though. Reeve again? . This album needed better topics, beats and guests and I'll keep saying it lol Still one of the best tracks tho. 14. HEAD HONCHO - You get a chance to be heard by more than 10 people and you spit half in a language they don't understand . For an artist who sucks, he does give us some catchy hooks, at least on Em collabs. Em f---ing killed it and got serious finally, bout time 15. TEMPORARY - Ok, second half of this album is clearly where the good stuff is. God bless my bald Queen 10/10 performance. I would love to see this live on TV with everyone crying, these two are special when they perform together so give my baby a piano asap Feels like he's done this same exact song before but I don't mind, it's dope. One of the best songs on the album for sure. Make some noise for Skylar Motherfucking Grey right now! and apologize to her cause she killed it 16. BAD ONE - This is where it gets bad again, you can tell they saved some bucks with these cheap artists for the hooks. Nah, not feeling it. 17. TOBEY FEAT. BIG SEAN & BABYTRON - Never cared about this song but after all the same topics for most of the album and broken flows, might up this to a 5 from my initial 4. 18. GUESS WHO’S BACK (SKIT) - The King is back like Weezy asked 19. 19. SOMEBODY SAVE ME - Same Castle, Arose, Temporary song again, also good though Final Thoughts: Enjoyable album except for the very repetitive topics, some of the beats and broken flows here and there. I honestly expected a better album, more mature and featuring friends he has great chemistry with. Dre also just mixed, will he be just this lazy on his album with Snoop? cause this REALLY needed better beats and he didn't do anything. Makes my expectations for Snoop & Dre album even lower. Anyway, this is a 6/10 for me. Final rank: TES MMLP SSLP Relapse Recovery Kamikaze MTBMB Encore (great peak Em highs) MMLP2 TDOSS Revival Nod bad, but far from good enough for a 4 year wait. All legacy artists who have had a career for 20 to 30 years that still make music, get hit with the same treatment. Is what it is.

Jul 14, 2024 If only you all could hear this album through my ears Imagine your perfect Eminem album: how hyped you'd be at certain parts, how some parts could make you cry, how some lines would absolutely crack you up, and how you'd be completely entranced by his flows, personality, and wit… The most perfect Eminem album you could ever imagine. Then imagine he drops an album that's better than that. That's how this feels for me and I'm not even playing. On 12th or 13th listen. Only thing that got me to stop was to watch the news when Trump got shot. Took a few hours away from the album, came back and loved it even more. All the shooter references hit harder suddenly. This is the masterpiece, coup de grace. A defense of Freedom of Speech, his own personal moral compass, and hardcore hip-hop. More thoughts to come.
Jul 14, 2024 Him tapping into every style over his career already cements this album as legendary. Also I’m 100% positive this is just the start of a new era. There is no way he would have his final album and not have Dre verse or talk about Proof. This is just the start of a new Era, and that’s why he called the first track renaissance.
