Jul 14, 2024 Back in what day? The world definitely compared albums lol. All the time across all genres of music. Alot of wu tang albums were debated a lot and compared to 36 chambers. I knew people who hated mmlp compared to sslp. Such a weird and statement to make. Maybe you didnt . Everyone else definitely did. This new album sucks. Badly. There is zero replay value here. Zero. It’s my least favorite album by him by far. There is not a single track I want to revisit on this pile of dog s---. Revival has better highs than this. Which is crazy. This is probably the only of his album I won’t be adding any tracks to a playlist.

Jul 14, 2024 As with any album, there are flaws to poke at - but surely White Gold being on it is pretty low on the list. Dude has consistently done a solid job. I assume it's people bitching that Em isn't on more hooks, but have you thought that maybe he couldn't think of a good one for those songs. I know I'd rather have White Gold pop on a song than hear hooks like stronger than I was or you're never over, when people should've stepped in and gone, 'find a singer'.
Jul 14, 2024 d--- wasn't feeling bad one after first few listens and not feeling the hook ( love white gold hook on habits way more and that song better) but... that last verse on bad one is filthyyyy. Jesus. Grew on me.
