Jul 15, 2024 I think it works for me because this is how he would approach social issues back in like 2003. It feels the most mean-spirited actually of all the tracks and is sequenced just before the full Shady takeover and then take down. It probably drives home the point of Shady in 2024 is different than back then, which I think is where some of the pushback comes from. The beat is pretty disappointing for a Dre beat though.

Jul 15, 2024 I think I view it as pivotal to the overall story of the album, so it works for me from that standpoint. Not something I’d listen to on its own, but in the sequencing of the album itself I think something like it is needed. If that makes sense?
