Also we all know he just tried to re-do Castle & Arose bc he thinks people didn't hear them due to Revival. Temporary = letter to Hailie, like Castles Somebody Save Me = this is what happens if I don't survive aka Arose That's why both feel false/forced, and quite lazily written, it's like he's just like... he wanted people to hear the concepts but he'd already - as he put it - dumped his fkn heart out on Castle & Arose, those were the real ones, so he can't do that authentically again.

Jul 18, 2024 I don't even hate Temporary or SSM but the sequencing is so f----- on the last leg of the album that it doesn't allow me to enjoy the songs at the end as much as I'd like to. Now that I'm getting my critiques all out I can say that most of this album has been stuck in my head like a parasite
