Jul 18, 2024 its hard to make a top 5 list lol, but GC2 is interchangeable with any song on my top 5 for sure, if im honest though my fav part of the song is the double voice part, s--- reminded me of my darling.
Jul 18, 2024 It’s like how twitter takes one lyric out of context of a song and generalizes everything about Eminem and Stan’s. Thats the intelligence of the internet for ya.
Jul 18, 2024 Probably as just doesn't stand out as much musically at first. I slept on it too. Bc I was too interested in Antichrist, Evil... Renaissance.
Jul 18, 2024 My only gripe with it is the way it ends. Avenging his enemies? Wtf. I've been toying with the idea of making a version with an alternate ending where Slim gets the last word like in My Darling. Maybe he could say "You couldn't k--- a spirit even if you tried to" after Eminem shoots him before finally popping off on that rant (the layered vocals part). It would have to all fall neatly into place and be coherent for it to be worth it though.
Jul 18, 2024 Yeah I know what you mean, @ avenging his enemies part but, I saw it as him just sort of saying he's putting all that s--- to bed and isn't going to mention it anymore. Like, as a way to put them topics and people to rest. But, it's also kind of funny when he never lets things go too lol, so I have mixed feelings about it. 'You can be a permanent fixture, in my lyrical mixture!'.
Jul 18, 2024 True lmao. Is that on 'Bad One'? I've always said he's... rapping like Shady on that track. It's so weird why he placed it there. Doesn't make any sense in the structure.
Jul 18, 2024 I hear if you backflip right at the end of Bad One and land it as the Ken Kaniff skit ends then you And listen all the way back to Renaissance then go back to Somebody Save Me 3 minutes before you go to bed then the concept really clicks in the REM cycle
