Jul 19, 2024 I dunno what his hat obsession is. I reckon it's to hide his wrinkles n s--- like it's amazing how much a hat will do that, more than it looks. Bc it's like a shadow over your face. Might sound silly but I remember one of Em's ex's that brazilian chick saying that was his biggest fear, losing his youth... and not looking or being youthful... Michael Jackson started doing it in vids toward the end, to hide his age but also weird face.

Jul 19, 2024 It may be a matter of something else. I myself wouldn't let anyone film me or take a photo of me without a hat. I just look horribly in most pictures, very different to what I see in the mirror, but wearing a hat I look okay from every angle. Em probably thinks the same about his appearance in camera. I am not usually filmed or photographed, so I wear a hat only in colder weather but Em is taken photo of every time he is in public. He gets rid of the hat only for music videos when he knows he has proper make up and is filmed by professionals who know how to use the best angle. Or it is just a hip-hop cultural thing. He wore a bandana or a cap or both all the time during TES and Encore eras too, right? It's nothing new for him. He probably thinks it's cool. And to me it is actually.
