Jul 21, 2024 I can’t be the only one who noticed how Royce is absent from this album/era. BM3 coming soon
Jul 21, 2024 Have you ever thought that maybe, just maybe, he likes Drake. Em's his own man, and he's the one experiencing it all in real time. We can have opinions of artists based on music and hearsay, but Em is the one doing shows with Drake, doing songs with Drake and apparently having him at his daughters birthday. Hip Hop is competition, and we crave the battle, especially if it's against an artist we aren't keen on - But there's every chance that he thinks that Drake has been a top guy whenever he's met him, and has no ill will towards him. Reminds me a lot of Em fans during the Revival/Recovery era. At that time, a lot of them weren't aware of the impact of say, Lil Wayne. Because, let's be fair, there's a big chunk of Em fans who don't listen to any other hip hop. So at the time, Wayne was getting dragged by Stans on social media, and every comment seemed to be asking why Em wasn't going at him. The reaction to him having a song with him at the time was met with a few sideways glances, and some were more bothered about him 'owning' him on it, rather than it being a good song. But, low and behold, after a couple of solid collabs, Em being respectful, and Wayne being nothing but supportive of him - Stans suddenly like Wayne now. What i'm saying is, just because someone isn't your kind of music, or they're doing as well, if not better than Em, doesn't mean that Em is going to be sat in his studio, absolutely furious, writing something to take their head off.
Jul 21, 2024 Probably already been mentioned, but the humming in the background of Evil is fantastic. Really makes the beat. Kind of gives Amityville vibes, even though I know that the humming/singing in that wasn't through out the song.
Jul 21, 2024 if you play only one song from the album + bonus tracks once every week you will be done by the time Marshall Mathers III drops
Jul 21, 2024 Nice. If you play the album from the middle backwards and forwards then Obie Trice and Bobby Creekwater k--- both Em and Shady
Jul 21, 2024 What’s been happening? Not been around for a while. Album has been on repeat since release
