Isn’t that what’s happening across the board now in Capitalist countries? Mass renting, low housing ownership, everything is on credit & streamed etc.

Just take housing as an example (which is the backbone to a functioning society)…

    Home Ownership Rate

    Neoliberal Capitalist countries:

    Canada: 66.5%
    England: 62.5%
    USA: 65.6%
    Australia: 67%
    France: 64.7%
    Germany: 45%

    Socialist/Communist countries:

    China: 93%
    Viet Nam: 88.1%
    Cuba: 90%
    Laos: 95.9%

An ironic holdover from the former Communist bloc of Eastern Europe is most of those countries still have higher home ownership rates than Western Europe & America despite restoring the Capitalist mode of production.

Grimes is a dummy but they’re not even together anymore lol

tell me something..why would they say that then if we already “own nothing and we’re happy”..i’ll have to check their site to see if the page is there but they were d--- near purporting a society where we didn’t even own the clothes on our back lmfao

& true but the method in which sees it coming to reality is AI and who likes AI? elon, everyone, the entire stock market..but truly AI is still in its infancy stages while programmers create more algorithms for it and feed it more data until it reaches singularity

That home owenership stat is pretty misleading because of how it works in different countries. For example, in China you don't really own s---, the land is still owned by the government but they let you lease it from them for 70 years. Also depending on the source, they usually count everyone living in a flat as home owners, hence East Europe tends to be pretty high up too. And of course the is the quality of homes too but that's almost another topic.

AI isn't that different from electricity when it comes to the future impact, so the economic system doesn't really matter that much. If North Korea could afford dem NV GPU clusters, you can bet your a--- they would go all in on AI too.

Because it’s a process of transition, nothing happens at the flick of a switch. It’s all cope anyway, the American Empire backed by the City of London financial hub, is waning, sovereign states are becoming more powerful over time because the weaponisation of the dollar (global reserve currency) is becoming increasingly untenable for the rest of the world, & they hold the most resources. I just wish Europe would wake up & disembark the sinking ship before it’s too late.

Not sure what you mean about AI idk if I’m being dumb lol

Not sure how it makes any of it misleading but land reform is a whole other topic. Those leases are granted automatically & there would only be an issue if they wanted to relocate you to better land (better for you or the public interest.) They always give out grants for doing so too as it’s the law. The Crown also owns all of the land in the UK, but has leasehold & freehold laws, the leasehold laws are usually 99 years or 125 years renewal durations as well.

I included the percentages of ownership of houses/apartments that are actually owned by a bank but being paid up by a mortgage, & the leaseholds too, so I think I’ve been fair across the board.

Hm, that's true but it seems more of an theoretical leftover from ancient times when the parliament didn't want to cuck the king too badly, practically, Charlie isn't going to do s--- while "your" property being at the mercy of the state is a very real problem in China, and basically all socialist countries.

Though the more misleading part is just what the % means, AFAIK most of these stats are about the houses and not population, and X% amount of houses are owned by the occupant doesn't tell much. Nowadays even a well paid worker in Guandong wanting to buy their own house/apartment is as f----- as one in Cali.

I own a half dozen condos outright.

Weekly I get postcards offering to buy them... weekdays I get called to buy them.

Communists aren't the ones calling.... it's Fortune 500 companies that are using their tax brews and the money they saved from deregulation who are calling and trying to aquire my assets to squeeze the market and eventually make it all but impossible for average people to own real estate.

I've been re-listening to some Right Wing Republican media from 9 years ago (June/July of 2015).

    It's an interesting time capsule.

They hated Trump... didn't believe he was a Republican.

They still loved George W. Bush (wanted him to be awarded the Nobel Peace Prize, thought he and Reagan were the Greatest American Presidents).

Thought gay marriage was the biggest tragedy in American history.

It's a great study in moving goal posts with Republicans.

Yeah well all your swap people used to go against gay marriage. Clinton's, Obama and Biden all voted against it before their donors got to them. Keep voting for puppets all you want but we're gonna make American great again and you can't stop us.

They replaced the gays with trans people for the culture war memes and immigrants with terrorists for muh security bs but not that much is different aside of the rheotoric getting completely deranged. I guess isolationists voices aren't complete fringe anymore but I doubt they are stupid enough to act on that.

On a serious note do you guys (americans) think she has a chance against Trump?

A lot of people I know in Europe were laughing (and worried at the same time) that americans had to choose between 2 grandpa's; one with alzheimer and one idiot. So if its truly gonna be a 59 (?) year old person stepping into the ring it might get people that haven't made a choice yet come over to Harris. Not sure if thats the reality over there though.
