Jul 30, 2024 35 mins is way to short for an album, especially of you're waiting for it for almost four years. If you'd release an album every 9 months then 35 mins would be okay I guess.
Jul 30, 2024 Maybe it’s my zoomer monkey brain but I usually prefer when albums are like 30-35 minutes these days. Although Vince Staples usually releases every 1-2 years. 4 years for 35 minutes would be bit of a different story. The problem I find is that a lot of the longer albums end up having a bunch of filler tracks anyway though. It’s also not like back in the days where you had to actually buy the albums so you wanted there to be enough material there to justify spending $16 or whatever the price was

Jul 30, 2024 I was watching some of Jake Bass videos on Twitter and they still have the keyboard that his Dad Jeff Bass recorded the entire Eminem Show on with all the sounds saved and he plays bits and pieces from songs and it's just like it is on the album. He says Cleaning Out My Closet was originally called Skeletons which I did not know.
