Aug 4, 2024 Gonna be really lame if we don't get an Em interview about the album (and I don't mean the Em vs Shady thing). Would be really interesting to hear how he came up with the concept...why he wanted to k--- shady. He even did one for Kamikaze which he dropped outta f---in nowhere.
Aug 4, 2024 At this point I think it'd only be worth it, if a Youtuber interviewed him. Someone who knew his music inside out. The different eras, styles, beefs, bars, etc. Not Sway or Crooked or, f---ing Mike Tyson again, please.
Aug 4, 2024 True. But an interview with anybody would be better than nothing at this point. There's so many interesting things about this album that could be asked of him.
Aug 4, 2024 Oh I'm sure he will 100% do her podcast some day. Id imagine Hailey has probably already asked him to do it.
Aug 4, 2024 That Cinderella man performance was the highlight. Goat s---. Made me go back to Recovery again today.
Aug 4, 2024 Already 720 million streams? TDOSS is going to surpass 1 billion streams in like 2 weeks. What a classic!
Aug 4, 2024 It's quite simple... This is where people are getting confused; Em is implying Slim Shady has BEEN dead, and he comes back - at the start of the album AKA it's Slim Shady's renaissance - hand up through the grave, he comes back to talk all this s---, and then Em kills him on Guilty Conscience 2. Hence in the interview why Em says 'since you've been gone' aka dead all these years, and now he's come back; the hand through the grave is him coming back > Renaissance, then the story envelops, then Em kills him. Straightforward.
Aug 4, 2024 I mean for comparison MMTBS did 295k first week, TDOSS did 281k first week. This is just what concept albums do, and this is also what the *top* selling artists do that aren't taylor swift or drake
Aug 4, 2024 25 years at the top is p crazy. For comparison, this would be like Drake dropping in 2035 lol.
