He worked hard (or maybe less hard / maybe it's his natural tone that's why Vs tryna create a new one) to capture his tonality because all the songs fit. That's one thing I'm very happy with... Even though there's aspects I think could be improved in structure and a cupla songs... Nothing screams 'wtf is this doing here??' and he almost always has at least a few of them on modern albums. This Is probably the first since tes. Altho Kami, side a and b were all great in that regard too TBF. Hes on a run. 4 albums.

Aug 9, 2024 Let's be honest.. Em gets flack for what he does, by some. On the mic. But, it's the foundation of an MC. Mic Controllers began, rappers began... Speaking between records, having to get your attention (people can give fanciful stories about slaves rapping n s--- but realistically it was just a bit evolution of djs with a big mouth lol) and it evolved from there... He's the absolute essence of that. I think tDoSS is a 7.5-8 to me.
