I never watch any music channels on tv nowadays so I have no idea, they don’t really censor anything on youtube… I remember back in the day a lot of videos had the alternative clean lyrics, NWA, Snoop, everybody did it. I quite enjoyed it though, to see if they would manage to come up with something clean that still made sense and with a good flow etc. As Marsh said that wasn’t always the case lol. I watched MTV so much back then that I probably know the clean lyrics better for some of the songs in the late 80’s early 90’s lmao (and yes I’m old)

Sep 27, 2024 Unfortunately clean versions of songs is still a thing. I posted that because someone before me had posted that apparently Eminem’s YouTube channel made a new upload that day but it was just the clean version of DoSS or a song off of DoSS, I can’t remember. Even on Apple Music there’s non-explicit versions of albums still. I guess it was better when they replaced the censored words with more family-friendly words, but it seems like for the most part they just blank the bad words out now. And with Eminem every other thing is going to be censored, it’s pointless lol
