Nov 20, 2024 I don’t seek attention, attention seeks me. Maybe one day you’ll get on that level. Until then keep drinking my bath water, loser.
Nov 20, 2024 Anyone know anything about an apparent Japanese edition of the TDOSS CD? Apparently it has the bonus songs on it
Nov 21, 2024 I liked everything on Revival and liked almost everything on TDOSS. New Em (2009-2024) is better than 1999-2005 Eminem easily.
Nov 21, 2024 I think the album should've ended with Guilty Conscience 2 - though he could've kept just Temporary and Save Me after the rest, Road Rage, Head Honcho, Bad One, Tobey, Kyrie & Luka, Like My s---, Fuel Remix could've been released as the mourner's edition
Nov 21, 2024 That being said, Em's verse on Head Honcho is probably the closest we'll get to that peak TES/Encore flow, one of the most underrated moments of the album
Nov 21, 2024 He had plenty more to say after GC2: Album ends properly with Stepping Stone, as a final afterthought after the curtains close.
Nov 21, 2024 Yeah ok dum dum. Not sure why you don’t like the song - it’s catchy and spot on. Over 27 million streams
Nov 21, 2024 You’re still so mad at Eminem endorsing Kamala Harris that you’re listening to diss tracks on Eminem and rapping them in the mirror all day soon bro is gonna go back to Azz Iz’s diss track and be like “you know, this actually isn’t so bad”
Nov 21, 2024 almost 10 years since Shady XV released. I love Fine Line, 3rd verse is a classic Marshall.
Nov 21, 2024 Yellin at the mic, obsessed with trannys, insulting r-----s, actin all tough on fuel - then endorses the far leftist and globalist elites for 1 mil. Hard to get into a rappers song when they act like a confused little boy and the only confused little boy who I know that tries to rap is Marshall. Stan’s can Blame the messenger but I’m just spitting facts.
Nov 21, 2024 I already know this. Eminem hasn’t been hard since 2006. Call that erectile dysfunction. But come on bro… Rap Devil is hella mid. Most people only liked it because it’s catchy. The disses, whether how true or false they may be, just don’t hit hard enough. Benzino’s recent diss track was lowkey better.
Nov 21, 2024 Ratings of DOSS ? If it somehow wins Best Rap Album Grammy, would it be the one to win with the worst critical reception ?
Nov 21, 2024 this is how i listen to revival. i understand what he and rick rubin were trying to do with the rest of the album, but i didn’t find much replay value in any of those songs. kami was fine but very short, but then he ran that hitchcock stuff into the dirt even harder than the accents. tdoss on the other hand is a breath of fresh air. temporary and save me are the only songs i skip every time, and that’s because they just feel like an attempt to recreate castle & arose. and yes new eminem is better lyrically but he’s been grasping at straws to find a decent sound. tdoss is the first right step he’s taken with that since recovery sometimes i just play renaissance-gc2 if im short on time and even though i like those songs better than any of his other post-lp2 album work, often when i do that im still like even though the final segment is a drastic improvement over his last droning, depressing, monotonous record, it doesn’t really fit on tdoss conceptually. it feels much more generic and off topic than the first half of the album but this fuel remix verse is sumn else entirely. when i listen to this i feel like i felt when i listened to k--- you and till i collapse for the very first time. i hope every song he makes from now on sounds exactly like this i am super sentimental about this cd for obvious reasons. that legendary cxvpher, the opening track where the audio just trails off at the end while he’s still rhyming like it’s just permanently going on in his head, psycho killer makes me hype afff and die alone is super relatable. vegas sounds unlike anythin he’s ever done before i love blasting that track. fine line could be on tes, it’s that good. and as far as right for me, i’ll argue with any of you all day that it’s top 25. not to mention the iconic detroit vs everybody. amazing record even with all the assorted filler. i loved knd aitab and phenomenal from the southpaw soundtrack also. that inspirational energy he was building on was electrifying. then nothin... sumn must’ve happened to him after that. i’m very glad he’s finally back to sounding like himself
