Dec 11, 2024 A snippet is supposed to get you excited but it’s hard to get excited when he sounds bored as f---. And no, before anyone tries to say it, that doesn’t mean I want him to be yelling. He had exciting deliveries all over DoSS without yelling and without sounding half asleep. Add that to the fact it’s a topic and flow he’s done before and you have a mid, forgettable verse. It’s not bad but it’s not good either. I don’t know how anyone here is going to genuinely praise this. Hopefully there’s some sort of switch up in the full song but I doubt it. I try to be positive about Eminem these days but I have to be honest, this isn’t it.
Dec 11, 2024 50 Cent’s and Snoop Dogg’s parts don’t sound particularly good either, but we didn’t hear as much of them as we did Eminem so it’s harder to judge. Obviously it could be different and work when we get the full song, but more often than not hearing the full song doesn’t change my opinion these days.
Dec 11, 2024 Not much Snoop Dogg won’t do for a cash grab or to make a quick buck. Dre just attaching himself to the project because of the gin and the fact that he is barely on the album shows little integrity and care for the music. Shame to see as they are iconic artists but all of it feels tacky and just a ad for their brand.
