Cole care too much about people approval, that don’t even really matter. s--- kinda annoying to listen to lol, I always knew he was kinda insecure, he put it in the music,.. but didn’t know it ran that deep lol. That n----- was worse than wale..

His insecurities is the reason it probably took this long to get the fall off. n----- you a grown man, you insecure like that??? lol , s--- crazy.. respect the honesty tho , but d---… I bet that n----- still care about the Grammys.. and the Grammys don’t mean s---, none of my favorites got Grammys, like why does that s--- matter???? I don’t get it lol. Ain’t no way no random people or goofy n----s making me feel some way about s--- I do , ima stand 10 toes on everything I say or do. That’s like me drawing some s--- and posting it and getting no likes, I don’t care, if I f--- with it , and I feel like posting , I’m posting it lol, somebody gon f--- with it.. or me making a beat, if I f--- with it, that’s all that matter, idgaf lol . Cole got to drop his nuts.. well he should’ve, kinda late now lol

I feel the same.. ain’t no retiring when it comes to music, if it’s in you , it’s in you.. cole probably just wanna take a break and pursue other things for now.. I remember ll cool j saying dudes talk about retirement when they ain’t got s--- else to rap about or not inspired to make music no more.. maybe cole drained and don’t feel like he got s--- else to prove, if something spark in the future, he’ll for sure drop something else I feel

He did a HBO documentary about that album and talked about it in a few interviews. He was depressed

    Fantastic

Probably the most artistic thing Cole has done in his career (so far). And it’s not forced or extra with goofy s--- like those two guys who are from the west coast and hipster wet dreams. It perfectly depicts the struggles of growing up in an environment of drugs, poverty and violence. Cole is a voice.

What if forest hills drive when it was a double disc, he was gon tell 2 stories of Fayetteville.. his and the other side… first disc was gon be what it ended up being, his story… then disc 2 was gon be some story telling. That’s why some of them tracks don’t sound like they fit

Daylyt said Cole didn’t care about radio hits for The Fall Off and he just wanted to show people his pen before he retires. Didn’t he say the same thing for The Offseason?

We need another feel good catchy hit before he retires :/ I think it’s impressive pen work to write a memorable hook, too. One more hit ain’t asking for much, Cole.

My life, too. And Cole spits on that and it’s a radio friendly hit. Gotta balance it out I suppose. You can be lyrical and still have a catchy hook.

Yes there should be variety on the album. If it’s all the same type of song it will get boring
