The album is decent. I can understand why some people might not like it or describe it as "mid." It's funny how some get so worked up when others don't share the same opinion, though.

Snoop's discography sucks but Blue Carpet Treament was definitely a highlight in his career.

In terms of recent album, "I Wanna Thank Me" stands out. It had a handful of really good songs.

I only get annoyed when people change their opinions after things they've previously said. It's like they forget they said an album was good, then months later it's "mid"

Fair enough. This album just came out and opinions sometime evolve overtime.

I thought I saw you critisize someone for saying this album is mid, but you gave it a 6 and said none of the songs were great. That's the definition of mid.

Hearing the full song changed nothing. It’s a predictable song with predictable features. It sounded exactly how I thought it would sound. The only slight surprise was the end of Eminem’s verse but that wasn’t enough to save it from being mid. I think people should just be glad I’m not calling it terrible. And after all the glazing I did of DoSS I think it’s fair enough to not label me as a biased Eminem hater.

I still haven’t listened to this album, and I’m not looking forward to it. Out of all the singles and the Eminem song the only song I KINDA like so far is Gorgeous. I also heard Thank You and did not like it. I’ll have to give the album a quick scan through and see if there’s anything that makes me wanna listen fully.

    Favorite track: Skyscrapers (Title sucks)

Other favorites: Shangri-La, Last Dance, Hard Knocks, Thank You, Another Part of Me

"Fire" is close to being a favorite as well.

The album is looking like a 6.5 or a 7

It's still early and i've only heard the album 2.5 times but I don't see the score going any higher.

I thought First Place, Countdown and Focused were solid tracks.

Snoop's Coolaid album has some great songs like "Kush Ups" and "Revolution" .

But that's pretty much Snoop's career in a nutshell. Some standout tracks mixed with a lot of filler. He might be worse than Tech N9ne when it comes to putting out filler. Even Blue Carpet Treatment could've been trimmed to 15 tracks.

Bro you're f---ing crazy 50's Fire was dope. I love that beat lol.

And yeah Left To Right and Who R U are definitely right there with this one for me. All are just terrible.

Little Engine and Road Rage are on a tier slightly higher for me.

And what kills me is that all of these are within the last 10 years. He is falling off so badly.

And it's not that I wanted old music I just want a good music. This is not that in my opinion.

I might be missing some but I believe Dope and Lock It Up are the only beaches made that I've really enjoyed post-Compton.

After first listen, Skyscrapers is the best song on the album.

Method Man absolutely stole the show. Best verse on the album by a LONG shot.

I wasn't a huge fan of I Wanna Thank Me but I thoroughly enjoyed BODR, a lot of fun songs and bangers on that imo
