    I ain’t losing my mind over it. It’s just good. I prefer this to THAT GUY by Tyler. Or PeekABoo by Kendrick. Joey sounds hard on the track. He did his thing. I agree with heem the west is overhyped.

    It doesn’t even have a million views since it was released on New Years. I don’t think people are losing their minds over it. Tyler - THAT GUY somehow has 11 million views in 10 days. The internet hipsters unfortunately control the narrative and genre now, remember?

    Of course Jake Hole would do better. He could half a--- it and put out a better track of the same style. That’s a given. Cole is a first ballot hall of famer, three MVPs, 7x all hip hop first team... Joey is like a two time six man of the year and one time all hip hop 3rd team…

    Maybe Kendrick and Tyler should commit to hip hop. Give up the bells and whistles and just rap in their own human voice like Mr. BadAss.

    Money talks. With more promotion it very well could’ve been one. Not saying a mega hit but at least on the charts. You can’t tell me mush mouth robotic Kendrick on Luther sounds better and more inspired than Bas on this. SZA is the reason that song is a hit. Well and the $$ behind Kendrick and SZA.

    The only thing I’d tweak is the production on The Others. It could slap harder and needs better drums. I see it was produced by KQuick, Ron Gilmore, Cedric Brown,Kurzweil & ClickNPress. Give it to Mike Will or Pharrell and with their magic it would be a hit. The melody is already there. Bas got lots of good vibe melodies

    It amazes me how you constantly diss Kendrick as if he did something to you personally. Then d--- near every time I come in this thread I see you hyping up the most mid songs possible. That Bas song is generic and no amount of money would make it a hit. It’s no wonder all of these people Cole sign are absolute flops. Dreamville is a failure. I don’t know why all these rappers think they should start record labels lmao

    And yall remember cole , krit and dot collab “they ready”?? I feel like cole should’ve put that on born sinner , song should’ve been bigger than what it was. They missed the mark with that one. That could’ve been a single off the album tbr. Cole needed somebody to co prod it to make it knock a lil more too

    Kendrick’s pg lang is probably gonna be a flop too if it’s gonna be a record label. These rapper record labels rarely ever work out. OVO is completely dead as well, nobody cares about Smiley and those other guys.

    The difference is I don’t mention these people every chance I get. Kendrick’s meat is always in your mouth. Either you’re a troll or you’re a moron, there’s really not much in between.
    They wouldn’t record it though because they don’t make generic songs. Another swing and a miss from “Head Bussa”. I think the only head that’s busted is yours. It’s also f---ing with your ears.
