Like we knew he use AI to create the flow on DOSS, but apparently he just completely rewrote lyrics to old songs from the vault. Discombobulated was a reworked leftover etc

Jan 17, 2025 I understand the thinking behind it sorta… because it makes you believe he can still do what he used to, only to find out it’s from a different time period than the rest of the album… as for myself, when we got Revival I came to terms with I’d been listening to him for 18 years at that point. Almost everyone falls off by then and I’m just happy with anything good I get… plus stuff like Anti-Christ is almost completely reworked.

I guess I just was a little surprised when DOSS came out that he could still create hooks like antichrist even if he was using AI for voice. But the fact that it was just a repurposed song from early 2000s makes me wonder if he really has that still in him. I know he can still rap is a--- off but can he make new content like that that.... I don't maybe I'm not making sense. It's been a long week and I'm nit picking
Jan 17, 2025 You could tell right off the bat that the Antichrist hook was old. It opens op the creativity for making songs going forward. Mixing his old self with modern Em is something I personally enjoy a lot. So I only see it as a complete win for fans
Jan 17, 2025 Nobody would complain if an author went back and finished an incomplete project from a decade ago. Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers did it with Last Dance With Mary Jane and it worked out quite well. I'm not sure why it's a debate for a rapper to do so.
