Jan 20, 2025 Yeah when I heard that, s--- was like WHUUUUT. Same when I heard 'I'm Having a Relapse' though. Both so fresh to anything prior and to each other, just felt like a total left turn. That surprise is fire. I'm not sure if it's possible for him to surprise us like that again. He's tried so many tonalities, speeds, everything.
Jan 20, 2025 It was refreshing to hear him on recovery tho. Like I Remember Encore and Relapse voices were so over the top. But on recovery he was back in his battle rap pocket.

Jan 20, 2025 It honestly amazes me how different he manages to sound on pretty much every album he just make a conscious effort to do so. Whether it’s a different way of mixing, layering, etc. I think Kamikaze and MTBMB (Side. A) are the closest in terms of his vocal performance, but aside from those they’re all pretty different

Jan 20, 2025 Hated it on Side B, but I’m good with it on DOSS, Kami, and Side A. MMLP2 I just wasn’t super into the mid tones he was exaggerating with like, no doubling whatsoever bar a few tracks Revival is one of the worst mixes ever. His vocal EQ was okay and better than Side B but the overall mix of each song was disgusting recovery is hit or miss for me. Some songs he’s peaking out wayyyy too hard. But GTC, WTP, the more toned down tracks are good but I agree, relapse is the best out of them all
