Jan 26, 2025 As someone who's been an Eminem fan since My Name Is dropped back in 1999, these recent leaks and the Album 6 info dump have got me revisiting the Hiatus era. It’s crazy to think about how starved Eminem fans were for any news or material during that time. After watching this video, I realized something I never knew before—the song Re-Up with 50 Cent was recorded during the same sessions as the new tracks for Curtain Call the first time he got out of rehab. Being able to finally hear the vaulted, unreleased 2006 album feels like it’ll fill a void for fans who lived through that drought of material.
Jan 26, 2025 For sure, I remember reading s--- on forums about "King Mathers" or "Em's next album" like almost 20 f---ing years ago, it's crazy to think that the last we'll ever hear from Pre OD Em is locked in the vault still (at least most of it), I'm dying for some "lost tapes" type of s--- from Em from that era. I remember everything being so mysterious around Em at that time and everybody thinking he was gonna retire soon or that the next album would be his last (mainly because of Proof's death and the fact that his music was starting to decline in quality)
