    relapse is special because it was a one off, if he did relapse style over and over we would get tired of it

    The thing is he had inside production his whole career until Recovery (which I loved when it dropped) but the fact he never went back to his/dres/denaun/ production as a majority sound for an album for 15 years after that was wild. It was a winning formula, and he completely abandoned it over 1 album that got bad reviews and in hindsight is a cult classic.
