Feb 1, 2025 Just listened to GTC for the first time in a while and yeah in terms of authenticity, subject matter and lyrics it’s a 10. With me it loses points because I don’t really consider it a rap song and the melody doesn’t speak to me, even tho it works for the song.

Feb 2, 2025 Would love to hear Em mixes with vocals from other songs over beats he made for other artist that he never rapped on such as Obie, and the 2pac tracks or even Dre beats from the 2000-2004 time period that Em didn’t get on like this I feel “8 Mile” would fit well on the “Black Cotton” beat. The vocals prob would need to be slowed down but I can hear the “sometimes I just feel like, quiting I still might” flow on this beat @BiG MONKEY what you think?
Feb 2, 2025 Also, Em should have saved “Fine Line” for “Revival”. It was his best and deepest song of that 2014-2017 era (aside from Arose/Castle) and fit in towards the end of that album
Feb 2, 2025 There are so many intriguing possibilities. I like those ideas, especially Black Cotton. Another one is Jump Out, with all the ref verses replaced with Eminem verses, such as at least some of his parts on Encore (the song).
