I never heard a playboi carti album , I don’t follow him, I don’t search him , he shouldn’t be in my algorithms lol. Maybe TikTok just know I’m a hip hop fan..     That amount of ageism that still goes on in hip hop is crazy when most of rap’s big stars right now are 30+.

    Kendrick, Drake, and Cole… all them dudes pushing 40 yet they’re making the biggest waves in rap. People young as me or younger just can’t do that right now. Sucks to admit but it’s true. We got waves for sure but nothing as big as these 30+ year old rappers. Even Travis Scott is 33, Playboi Carti is pushing 30

    Doechii makes waves. Lots of $$ and promo behind her. My niece knows the words to Anxiety already and s--- just came out. She gets way more views than Cole. But she’s not in the same lane as Cole. She’s alt hip hop/pop r&b. You’ve been correct though @Uncle Luke Cole and Dreamville don’t promote worth a s---. TFO bout to do a measly 95K first week. Cole hasn’t said anything about Clouds besides his lil 2010 blog that no one knows about.

    I’ve heard doechii album, it got some dope tracks on there,. But compare her to somebody like glorilla, or sexy Red, they both making noise out here, but do you think the Grammys would give them rap album of the year award?? That’s why I think tde pay to push their artists.. they see them getting a lil traction, then they push the button on it.. the Grammys was doechii button pushed moment.. idk if it’s tde or interscope .. rather it’s a bad thing, or a good thing idk. Cause I get it, if they doing that for their artists .. but compare it to dreamville, somebody like jid or ari got that same push , i feel dreamville could do it, but they choose not to .. is that a bad thing or a good thing? cause you telling me a doechii , or sza is more talented than a jid or ari Lennox?? It’s just they got a bigger machine backing them..


    I feel like sza doechii and kdot got the same treatment from the industry , what ever that treatment is

    Honestly, I could see the fall off doing maybe 200k, the off season did 282k , so he’ll probably do a lil above that or a lil below.. so not over 300k , but not below 200k , somewhere between there.. that’s if they don’t promote it , or depending how they roll it out, if they doing like they did with might delete later, I could see it doing those numbers, just off word of mouth, and the hype they built up for it over the years.. .. if they step their promo / rollout game up it might do higher ..

    The fall off need that FHD rollouttype s---, get the fans engaged and talking again, don’t just drop it randomly.. even the off season had a dope rollout.. might delete later rollout was trash tho, I don’t know why they was posting on the other ig account and not cole main account. Shiddd, maybe that’s what cole want , if that’s the way he want it, then I can’t be mad at it , maybe he just want to get the s--- to his main ppl.. cause if you really in tuned you gon know when cole doing something, if you a casual you not gon know

    I wish album sales didn’t matter to people. It used to be a little fun to predict first week sales but now I don’t even do that anymore. I see all these streaming stats and sales stats everywhere, and I just scroll past it now because I really don’t give a f---. I just want good music, I don’t care if 1000 nerds in Wichita, Kansas streamed it or not.
