It’s funny how My name was his breakout hit and one of the most heavily rotated radio singles in ‘99… but nowadays most people don’t think about it compared to his later hits. But it was massive back then. SSLP came at the perfect time, and I don’t think anyone knew it cause as much controversy as it did… only for Em to just dive deeper into his persona to keep pissing them off. Haha Vintage Em

Apr 22, 2025 Infinite - Eminem Score: 70 CC: @Minato Have I been listening to Eminem since I was in elementary school (maybe even before)? Yes. Had I heard Infinite in full before? Actually, no! I meant to start with this album last night but completely forgot to look up the download for this album and by the time I remembered, I was a few tracks into SSLP. Anyways, this album was much better than I expected. People regard this album as mid, but I thought it was good! Em had yet to find his certain style, which he would go on to perfect in SSLP, but you can tell this is Em rapping especially on Open Mic with those rhyme schemes. Only tracks I didn't like were Maxine (basically Drips but 6 years earlier) and Backstabber, otherwise the rest of the tracks were good! Title track is a classic. Apr 22, 2025 Yeah this is why it’s my least played. Idk how it’s 2025 and shady records still hasn’t put it on streaming. Em should have done a remaster for it. Infinite the song is actually incredibly written. And I love for him to rap like that over some 90’s beats again one day.
Apr 22, 2025 The Marshall Mathers LP - Eminem Score: 100 CC: @Minato What can I say about this album that hasn't been said before? Major hip hop classic and one of my favorite albums of all time. Multiple classic hits, and in my opinion, no bad songs. Ken Kaniff skit is a bit odd to sit through on full listens, but makes sense with the context of the ICP beef. "Remember Me?" is one of Em's greatest and deserves its flowers for sure, very overlooked in the overall span of his discography. This is Em at his best, and I'll forever love this album. Apr 22, 2025 A perfect album! From the first day I heard it… I mean wrote it. I knew I was gonna be the best selling poet, and most acclaimed white rapper ever to spit s---. My controversy shaped Y2K era pop culture b----, I was like the Beatles for the Suburbs kids. I made records go platinum, I wasn’t just Eminem, I was a Star that burst. With every slur I filled up my purse. My baggage was getting worse. That’s why I started popping percs and stealing Valium from the nurse. Made Stan, even the dictionary had to admit it. The real Slim still won’t sit, so many veterans worship now. Ask Kendrick, Big Sean, and even Logic how. I Even made a sequel when hopsin was in college, I’m friends with the Monster inside of my pocket. I’ll still prick a leather wallet. And as I pick up the last LP Vinyl, I realize I’m so proud. I know a lot of people would give this a 10 like MMLP, but I genuinely do not think it is a 10 like I once did. The highs on this album are extraordinary, Without Me, Superman, Till I Collapse, Cleanin' Out My Closet, Sing For The Moment. I still get chills from the transition from The Kiss to Solider. Apr 26, 2025 at 2:12 PM Encore - Eminem Score: 65 CC: @Minato Eminem's most back and forth album ever, having some of his highest highs and his lowest low. My only real issue with this album is the middle section, which drags it down a LOT. Like Toy Soldiers is a top 10 Em song, if not top 5, and a couple tracks later it is followed up by his worst song. My 1st Single is a genuinely terrible track and his worst song ever, yes I am taking ANY song off Revival over My 1st Single. That being said, there are a handful of underrated tracks on this album, particularly Spend Some Time and Crazy In Love. I like these tracks a lot, and feel they deserve more love. Alas, even though this album has a lot of good (not great) songs mixed in with a couple absolute classics, the quality of a significant chunk of this album knocks it down a lot of points. Took a shovel to Michael, I show no remorse. Still on my high horse, and Encore still sold 5 Million albums. So the bad apple spoiled J.Cole. He told me so, grew up listening to Just Lose it on the radio. And MockingBird went Viral, and so did RainMan on ticktock b----. And The comments say I’m old, but who got the Golden Globe? 8 Mile, Yellow Brick Road, Runyon Avenue Soldiers call it home, sing the chorus to my 1st Single and it goes..
Apr 28, 2025 at 11:08 PM Relapse - Eminem Score: 85 CC: @Minato Easily Em's most divisive album, and his big return after his hiatus from his drug addiction/overdose. I fall on the side on really liking this album. This has some of Dre's best beats and some of Em's best rapping in terms of technicality and flows. I can get how someone wouldn't enjoy this album (subject matter, ACCENTSSSSS), but to me it def deserves its "cult classic" status. Some of the songs on this album I would feel like a f---ing freak bumping while walking around in public, but as an album, all the songs work together and is a wild listening experience. Doctors said it’s no longer 2002, MTV is gone and now everyone uses YouTube. iTunes took over, Dre What the f--- happed to CD Players?! I was irrelevant and had to reinvent for the haters. They said Wayne and Kanye were the kings now, 50Cent was played out. There’s no more Nsync or backstreet to clown. Jay Z rapping with Rihanna now, maybe I should jot that down. And as I started to drown in doubt, these accents came around. We Made a New Vow, A-E-I-O-U and some times Y. Nah, Shady it’s M till I die. Murdering Midgets is my favorite pastime. Yeah, I relapsed and made a vampire rhyme. So if you umpires don’t wanna get slapped, Don’t f---ing step up to bat.
Apr 28, 2025 at 11:37 PM I have always felt this way too tho. Seriously, the rapping and production is some of his best, especially post Big 3 album era. But it kinda on that same level as MMLP2 for me, but with the opposite problem where that album had bad production even for its time in 2013. But yeah the rapping and return to darker horror vibes made this like a spiritual successor to the SSLP.

No Love (my beloved) is on this album, but so is W.T.P. so yeah. Some nice, personal introspective tracks on this album such as Going Through Changes and You're Never Over which are tracks that I have always appreciated. Lots of catchy songs on here and some pretty good rapping too, but not as strong as the OG 3 or Relapse. I feel like this album in the grand scheme of Em's discog is very interesting, as it doesn't really feel like any of his other albums? That's the best way I can describe it. Eminem Ranked: 1. Katy Perry, Lady Gaga and Bieber had me aroused . And as my fans frowned, they started money laundering like some Girl Scouts. Stealing my music off of SoundCloud, like how the f--- am I supposed to get out of debt now?! I lost my best friend and AA drained my bank account. I had one shot to get another diamond handout. Told NF it was the final tryouts; Bizzare was in the background. I took a Vow to never go back on Slaughterhouse, but these OG’s are slacking now. I jump on that mound, and pitch 3 Outs. Especially 25 to life, spacebound, and the hit singles. It’s easily his most commercially successful and known since TES. His 2nd peak! I mean my 2nd Peak.
