Apr 29, 2025 at 1:30 AM Def a product of its time, and you can't exactly knock it for that. Just a handful of tracks on here aren't for me personally
Apr 29, 2025 at 2:14 AM The Marshall Mathers LP2 - Eminem Score: 80 CC: @Minato Album is honestly better than I remember, not that I ever found it bad, but I'm surprised I enjoyed it as much as I did. Some awesome and classic tracks on here, alongside some songs that deserve more love in the bigger picture of his discog like Rhyme Or Reason and Legacy. Headlights is an all timer in his discog, and everytime I hear Love Game I get so sad that this is the ONLY collab between Em and Kendrick. Em and Kendrick today could make an insane track and they just won't make it happen! Anyway, I digress. I'm gonna be on a Berzerk kick again for a bit. Skips on this album for me are a------ and Stronger Than I Was. Enjoying it while I can, because we all know what's next up... Eminem Ranked: 1. The Marshall Mathers LP - 100 2. The Eminem Show - 95 3. The Slim Shady LP - 85 4. Relapse - 85 5. The Marshall Mathers LP2 - 80 6. Recovery - 75 7. Infinite - 70 8. Encore - 65
Apr 29, 2025 at 2:40 AM I've been driving around your side of this town Like 9 frickin' hours and 45 minutes now Finally I found your new address, park in your drive Feel like I been waiting on this moment all of my life And it's now arrived, and my mouth is full of saliva My knife is out and I'm ducking on the side of your house See, it's sad it came to this point Such a disappointment I had to make This appointment to come and see ya But ain't here for ya empathy, I don't need your apology Or your friendship or sympathy, it's revenge that I seek So I sneak vengefully and treat your bedroom window Like I reach my full potential, I peaked Continue to peep, still bent low Keep tapping the glass lightly then start to crescendo Sneak all the way 'round to the back porch Man, door handles unlocked, shouldn't be that easy to do this You don't plan for intruders before hand Surprised to see me, cat got your tongue Gag, chloroform rag, gag almost hack up a lung Like you picked up an axe up and then swung Stick to the core plan, drag to the back of a trunk By one of your fans, irony spectacular, huh Now who's a fa----, you punk And here's your Bronco hat, You can have that s--- back 'cause they s---
Apr 29, 2025 at 3:01 AM Yeah I wrote it cuz Stan’s kept asking me to make Stan 2. But if I did that I’d be like everyone else in the f---ing industry. What, you want a Recovery Clone of me? Go listen to NF’s new Ep or something. I’m the real slim shady
Apr 29, 2025 at 5:30 PM Revival - Eminem Score: 45 CC: @Minato Well, here we are. Revival, THE "bad album" in Em's discog. I'm sure I could be a lot more harsh on this album, but there are still a handful of tracks on here that I enjoy, particularly in the tail end. Offended, In Your Head, Castle, and Arose are dope (I could do without the chorus on Offended though, and Need Me would be included but I'm so back and forth on that song). Walk On Water is a dope song, I don't care bro, I really like it. Believe I can enjoy as well. Chloraseptic has a much better remix so I don't visit this track as much as the much superior remix. River is the big hit from the album, which makes sense, and I don't mind it as much as other people do. Framed is basically a diet Relapse track, but dope still. Regardless, even the tracks that I like, I don't necessarily love. I'm more likely to throw on WoW, Framed, Offended, or the final 3 tracks than the other tracks on this album. This was also the first Em rollout that I was a fan for, so I'm sure that nostalgia boosts the score of this album a tad for me. Anyways, I have heard worse albums, but it def makes sense why people DESPISE this album. Me personally, while it is Em's worst album by far, I do not fully hate it due to some tracks really saving this from being a total stinker. Eminem Ranked: 1. The Marshall Mathers LP - 100 2. The Eminem Show - 95 3. The Slim Shady LP - 85 4. Relapse - 85 5. The Marshall Mathers LP2 - 80 6. Recovery - 75 7. Infinite - 70 8. Encore - 65 9. Revival - 45
Apr 29, 2025 at 6:46 PM I was at an all time low. Too many pop features And choppy flows. Tried to be Woke, and my beard started to grow. Not one single went gold. I walked on water, but that s--- froze. Even J Cole was creeping on my level. The Blonde started turning Yellow, your Rap God became just another fellow. I guess I am the worst clone. Whoa wait Bro… before you go and sign your death Note, think what LL would’ve wrote. Now I speak like a Goat. Revival was just a joke. So if you don’t wanna get choke, Kelly…you better wash your belly with soap
Apr 29, 2025 at 6:51 PM The one time I can agree with haters and critics about one of his albums. Just a travesty. Tho I still find several ok songs.the rock beats are some of his worst mixes ever. Half the album seems unmixed. Untouchable is the worst audible thing I’ve ever heard. Even tho the topic was deep especially the 2nd half of the song when he really started rapping
Apr 29, 2025 at 7:06 PM Untouchable is so conflicting to me because the 2nd half is actually really good, just that first half bro...if it was only the 2nd half it would be up there with the great tracks on the album
Apr 29, 2025 at 7:11 PM Kamikaze - Eminem Score: 80 CC: @Minato This is where Em started to wake up again post-Relapse. MMLP2 is up there, but this album has a lot of Eminem's best rapping. Not Alike is f---ing insane and I will always love that track. However, this album has Nice Guy on it soooooooo. Speaking of Nice Guy, I enjoy Good Guy. It's not one of Em's best track, but it's still a good track. Even though it's a good song, it does not fit on the album, same as Normal and Nice Guy. If this album took out those 3 tracks, I think this album would be regarded under better light it would probably be a 8.5-9 for me. I will say, the mumble rap talk is clearly dated and was considered bitter at the time, so I am glad that Em's view on modern rap has changed. I truly feel like if Em continued to be bitter towards modern rap in this fashion after Kami, MTBMB and TDOSS would be not as good as they are. Great album, and the start of Em's path back to greatness post-Revival! Eminem Ranked: 1. The Marshall Mathers LP - 100 2. The Eminem Show - 95 3. The Slim Shady LP - 85 4. Relapse - 85 5. Kamikaze - 80 6. The Marshall Mathers LP2 - 80 7. Recovery - 75 8. Infinite - 70 9. Encore - 65 10. Revival - 45
Apr 29, 2025 at 10:26 PM Music To Be Murdered By - Eminem Score: 80 CC: @Minato Em finally embraces the modern sound, and it works! When this album surprise dropped, I was shocked at the feature list on this. At the time, I never expected to see Eminem ft Young MA, Juice WRLD, or Don Toliver EVER. Anyways, the beat selection on this album is great on pretty much all of the tracks and the rapping here is fun, and much more relaxed than the last few albums before it. This feels like Em just having FUN on the mic, he's chilled out and rapping like he has nothing to prove anymore. Love the aesthetic around this album too, and wish it had gotten proper performances, but the pandemic happened and yadda yadda you know how it is. Very fond of this album despite some flaws and tracks that don't fully land for me! Eminem Ranked: 1. The Marshall Mathers LP - 100 2. The Eminem Show - 95 3. The Slim Shady LP - 85 4. Relapse - 85 5. Music To Be Murdered By - 80 6. Kamikaze - 80 7. The Marshall Mathers LP2 - 80 8. Recovery - 75 9. Infinite - 70 10. Encore - 65 11. Revival - 45
Apr 29, 2025 at 10:44 PM Best modern Em album. (Not counting Death of slim shady since it’s an album about his entire career). Production that actually felt like it was from that year and not some old 2008 beats. Em rapping on a high level but clearly just having fun and not being serious. His verse on Yah Yah slayed. Leaving heaven is what Revival wish it was. In to deep is probably the most forgettable song on the album, and this kinda nights is goofy but has an encore nostalgia to it. Overall I think it’s consistent for a commercial sound. Him making a massive hit like Godzilla so late in his career is still amazing. No regrets is the type of songs I love to hear more. Like you can play this in the Hood and the Club. The Game could never
