Thunderbolts sets up the conflict of 2 Avenger teams, gives us a direct lead into Avengers Doomsday, and makes these heroes instantly likable and more of a family then the OG Avengers. All I’ve been wanting from a modern MCU movie. And the super soldier corner of Marvel is my 2nd favorite behind the Wanda side. Delivers at all angles for me personally. And I’m so glad they will be main characters in Doomsday.

So I hear Spider-Man Brand New day will be a prequel to Avengers doomsday, even tho it comes out after. Similar to how Ant-man & The Wasp and Captain Marvel happen before Infinity War but came out after.

Brand New Day is currently casting Prisoners & Teachers. Many fans think this means Scorpion may return and Shocker actor said he is in the movie. As far as the teacher stuff, it could just mean some scenes of Peter’s first year in college at NYU. This is hapingnto be a grounded Street level movie! Amy pascal, executive producer said that the film focuses primarily on Peter being Spider-Man full time. Sounds like we are getting our Friendly Neighbor-Hood Spidey movie after all with Mr.Negative gaining a Criminal enterprise as Kingpin governs the city. A lot of cool elements at play.

I have a friend that works in the film industry and he says that the Re-branding marketing for New Avengers was planned a year and a half ago after the writers strike. They also said it’s genius and he believes that it will actually help the 2nd weekend drop. The Avengers brand name is still very strong contrary to popular belief. Disney is confident this will have strong legs
