The latest Em album at the time of writing, and it's his best one since Relapse and a top 5 Em album! I enjoy the meta concept here of Em saying that the Slim Shady character is outdated and needs to go away. Using AI in a good way, basically just de-aging his own voice to sound like Slim Shady, was creative to me. Lots of highlights on this album, especially during the "storytelling" part of the album, but after that it drops off a bit. I like the tracks after GC2, but I wouldn't have been mad if they were saved for the deluxe that had came out a few months later (with the exception of Temporary and Somebody Save Me, they fit well on the album's story). The only meh song to me in the storytelling portion is Road Rage. Loved seeing JID make an appearance on here too!

It’s so funny how Em could make a top tier album this late in his career… like we really got Revival when these thoughts and verses were probably in his vault for a decade. Lmfao.

Revival is what tanked his score too, he def would’ve probably been just under the top 5 had revival not been there. Still, 8 albums that I consider and 8 or above. Not bad!
