May 24, 2025 Considered Eminem doesn't mesh well with pop. Recovery worked. That's ONE ALBUM and he has been trying pop rap ever since. Similarly rock rap only worked (to some extent), on MMLP2 alone. Everything f----- already on Revival. Yet he still tried to have atleast one pop song on the albums even when the album doesn't warrant it. Kamikaze doesn't need love songs. TDOSS didn't Temporary and Somebody Save Me which are a inferior version of Castle and Arose. These songs have sincerity in his verses but these real emotions feel sugarcoated because of the pop approach to it.
May 24, 2025 Without me and the real slim shady are pop songs. They are structured that way. Revival s----d in general. But take that out and he still makes good pop singles. Like the Monster, even Houdini is a pop record.

May 24, 2025 I don't know what they will do for Recovery. It's already pushing 80 minutes so The bonus tracks wouldn't fit on a CD or LP People need to stop blaming Paul. Eminem knows fans want new material. He's got tons of it. He could easily have released new songs and all the instrumentals. This happened for Encore too so it's nothing to do with Joe selling songs or people leaking them. He clearly doesn't want to release anything. Or maybe sales for the Eminem Show Expanded and MMLP2 Expanded weren't good and they think they won't get a return on the investment... It still doesn't cost them money to put together a digital release and at this stage of the game it shouldn't even be about money. It should be done as a way to monument a milestone each album has.

May 24, 2025 Lol @ thinking Revival is the first time Em has tried "rap rock". You not grow up on him homie? Rock has been infused in his s--- from the start. Marshall Mathers, White America, Fight Music, Sing for the Moment. Even like 'Till I collapse' which uses a beat and clap very similar to like 'we will rock you'.
