May 24, 2025 at 12:54 AM Considered Eminem doesn't mesh well with pop. Recovery worked. That's ONE ALBUM and he has been trying pop rap ever since. Similarly rock rap only worked (to some extent), on MMLP2 alone. Everything f----- already on Revival. Yet he still tried to have atleast one pop song on the albums even when the album doesn't warrant it. Kamikaze doesn't need love songs. TDOSS didn't Temporary and Somebody Save Me which are a inferior version of Castle and Arose. These songs have sincerity in his verses but these real emotions feel sugarcoated because of the pop approach to it.
May 24, 2025 at 1:31 AM Without me and the real slim shady are pop songs. They are structured that way. Revival s----d in general. But take that out and he still makes good pop singles. Like the Monster, even Houdini is a pop record.
