May 24, 2025 I wonder how much they've spent on marketing this 25th Anniversary Edition, promoting it in Times Square? Creating a brand new 90-second long ad for it? Like they gave us nothing special whatsoever lmao put this money into album promotion and music videos.
May 24, 2025 No effort was made for Relapse or Encore. Nothing new. No bonus tracks. And I highly doubt Dr Dre or the Bass Brothers stepped in and vetoed any unreleased music. They could have kept this release as is and obviously having a regular 2LP release keeps the cost down and when the regular version comes out it will be priced like a regular LP but it wouldn't have taken a 5 minute phone call to call someone at Interscope or whoever is in charge of this and get them to do a separate release with all the instrumentals, some TV and radio freestyles he did at the time of the album release and a few unreleased songs from the sessions. They could still do it. I also find it hard to believe that Paul Rosenberg doesn't see or know that. I really do think a lot of this is Eminem's decisions to make. I just wish he would give us something to celebrate these milestones for his albums. Otherwise what's the point in all these hard drives with hundreds and hundreds of songs? It's been 25 years. How do we know we will be around in another 25? Now is the time to make use of all this material.
