Yall think they still working on that album tho? Ain’t no way lol. I was watching the latest episode of Rory and mal yesterday, Rory was saying he think cole scrapped the whole concept he had for the fall off after the whole beef happened. So basically he started from scratch with a new concept.. he was saying cole had a concept to feature a lot of OG rappers or something.. idk if he was talking from knowledge of the situation or he was just giving his opinion and what he think.. he also said he hope it’s a real jay z feature on there, would be like a part 2 of a star is born, that would be dope tbr. Mal was like he don’t think jay z is in rapper mode right now, yall know mal is tied in with jay z circle, through his brother

What are Dreamville independent artists doing, they got their freedom and only releasing freestyles. Why not go to radio stations or podcasts to do freestyles.

I don't think the concept of The Fall Off would be tarnished by how the beef happened. I think that this is the concept of The Fall Off

It's The Blueprint. It's Thug Motivation, Victory Lap etc.

So nah, I don't think he had to change the album because he's worried people like f---ing Rory and Mal gonna look at him sideways about the content. I think it probably would've come out last year if, yes, the beef thing didn't happen to derail the momentum. But also Ib/Bas' mother passing away.

As for now, I think the reason it's not out yet could be a couple things:

1. There's an essential song that has a sample that isn't clearing and he's not willing to change it or let it go.
2. There's a song that he's searching for but still hasn't quite nailed.
3. He still feels like he's getting better and wants to top what he already had.

I mean the great thing about him remaking this album 5-6 times like he said in the MDL video is that we're going to get all these songs someway somehow in the future. See again the Trae the Truth quote and what they've been doing on Inevitable.
