Jun 24, 2025 at 10:37 PM No one really cares about these anymore but I’m only posting this because it’s actually a surprisingly decent list. These are all rappers who are bubbling up in the underground or already slightly mainstream and there’s some decent variety. Inb4 people comment “who?” though because I imagine a lot of you probably haven’t heard of most of these rappers lol. @jankland gonna like that Samara Cyn is on here, @DiggleDogg69 gonna like that ian is on here
Jun 24, 2025 at 10:52 PM Wait…solid picks?? Alongside people I haven’t heard of before that I could potentially get put onto??? Are we back??? Excited for Cardo production on the cyphers and freestyles. Makes total sense for ian and lazer dim to be there, they had good years for themselves, shoutout eem tripplin too but he should’ve been recognized on the freshman list 2 years ago. He’s had the longevity to prove himself at least! Good for him, he’s a good artist and I need to tap in more
Jun 24, 2025 at 10:56 PM i mean. she’s cute. rhymes are awesome. love the assonance. you can always tell when someone’s studied the greats. but delivery is frankly atrocious. like pre ssep em. she needs a more unique, much more intelligible sound imo. but thank you for sharing, always like hearing what new artists are doing
Jun 24, 2025 at 11:11 PM Yeah he’s kinda like yeat, future, Gucci mane, etc. so you probably wouldn’t like him
Jun 24, 2025 at 11:12 PM h--- yeah man, agree with all this. I’ve been watching all these guys bubbling up so it’s nice that they will get recognized on a bigger stage. It’s crazy timing too because I was just watching this the other night
Jun 24, 2025 at 11:13 PM Did he ever drop this officially?? This was stuck in my head for weeks and then I forgot about it until now
Jun 24, 2025 at 11:15 PM Nah I don’t think so because I tried looking for it and couldn’t find it but maybe I just didn’t look hard enough. Love that sample though, I need to listen to more NewJeans lol
Jun 24, 2025 at 11:34 PM I only heard of one of them but I will give them props, they don't look like a bunch of clowns like they have the last few years.
Jun 24, 2025 at 11:43 PM This list gives me hope they might start cooking with these cyphers again. This is a lot better than the last few years. I already know Samara Cyn and Ray Vaughn should be dropping some dope verses. I can barely remember the ones from the past few years because they were so unimpressive and forgettable. h--- even Kai Cenat’s AMP cypher last year was getting way more views than XXL’s cyphers.
Jun 24, 2025 at 11:45 PM I'm legitimately surprised that Dave Blunts' fat a--- wasn't picked for the 10th spot lmao
Jun 24, 2025 at 11:47 PM They were probably too worried about him being hospitalized before making it to the cypher
Jun 25, 2025 at 12:25 AM Most rappers sound the same now, the popular ones anyways. None of them having a defining sound or anything
Jun 25, 2025 at 12:57 AM I automatically assumed you were talking about the white guy in the front row because he’s more prominent in the photo but if you were talking about the white guy with the tattoos in the middle row that’s 1900Rugrat (Kodak Black influence). I kinda agree with you about most mainstream rappers sounding the same, that’s why I haven’t even listened to Lil Baby’s latest album still although I’ll probably get to it eventually. I tend to listen to more underground rappers than mainstream rappers now and most of these rappers on this list are underground and bubbling up. The only ones that are kinda mainstream are Ian and Gelo, MAYBE Ray Vaughn too because of that battle with Joey Bada$$ but that didn’t seem to give him a ton of buzz really
