Jul 13, 2025 at 1:19 AM I didn’t listen to Jackboys 2 yet but I heard there’s a weak a--- diss line to Pusha T
Jul 13, 2025 at 2:13 AM Travis Scott can’t win a rap battle. All anyone has to do is bring up the fact he let a bunch of his fans die at his concert and he’s done.
Jul 13, 2025 at 2:23 AM Travis Scott is 34 years old still acting like a r-----ed cartoon character. Let that sink in
Jul 13, 2025 at 5:00 PM I don’t hate the album like people seem to hate it. Just feels more thrown together than JB1 but it’s definitely not the dumpster fire people are claiming it to be online. There’s a handful of songs I see staying in my rotation. Feels more like a Utopia 1.5 and not a label collective album, could’ve benefited from being shorter. 8-12 songs instead of 17 and more variety with the artists instead of just a s--- ton of Trav. Was cool to finally see Faygo get that Travis collab
Jul 13, 2025 at 5:17 PM Lmk what you think, I’m thinking a 6.5-7 on first listen. There’s some really good stuff but some bad stuff too. I’ll tell you some favs of mine after you listen to not skew your thoughts on individual tracks
Jul 13, 2025 at 6:26 PM I was thinking a 6 or 7 by the end as well. My biggest problem with the album is that weak a--- Pusha T diss. Other than that I think it’s decent. I haven’t listened to Jackboys 1 in forever but I think I remember liking that better than this though. Also idk if it’s just me but the mixing sounded off in a bunch of spots during the album. I used to listen to SoFaygo a lot so it’s cool to see him here I guess. Speaking of SoFaygo, while MM3 is one of my favs, I think his collab with Trav on CONTEST is one of the worst songs. The mixing isn’t great and it’s too repetitive. The other weak songs to me are DUMBO (don’t like that hook at all especially), VELOUR (just does absolutely nothing for me), and OUTSIDE (another extremely repetitive song). I also could do without all the spoken word at the endings and beginnings of the songs. The songs I might regularly go back to are KICK OUT, MM3, WHERE WAS YOU, NO COMMENTS, BEEP BEEP, PBT, and SHYNE. All the other s--- I could probably take it or leave it for the most part. I love the Carti feature on WHERE WAS YOU, but some of Travis’s lines I did not like. I never thought I’d compare the two, but Travis’s line “When you shoppin', they call you the mall 'cause you get 'em all” was Eminem tier level cringe. NO COMMENTS is a Don Toliver b-----r and one of the songs that made me dance the most. This might be a controversial take but I feel like nowadays Don Toliver’s best songs are the ones that aren’t on his albums lmao. Oh also BEEP BEEP freaked me out for a second because the instrumental sounded a lot like an instrumental I made recently lol. CANT STOP was playing full blast while I was getting a solo Victory Royale in Fortnite so that might become one of my favorite tracks too just because of that lol
