Jun 16, 2025 The Innocent A spanish version of a Harlan Coben book. Usually I find the HC shows (the british ones) entertaining but kinda lame at the end. There's a lot of conspiracies and dark stuff in the first episode but it falls kinda flat later on. The potentially 'huge' stuff usually just was something simple. And it was more mystery than actual action. However El Innocente was completely different. Instead of waiting till the end with reveals, the show reveals something new pretty quickly. And here it isn't just a little family issue or something; lot of big stuff happens (violence, murders and worse). I loved this miniseries, by very far my favorite HC show so far. Giving this a 10/10, which doesn't mean there aren't better shows but for what it is, it was perfect to me.
