Thats so s-----y, its crazy how f----- up people can be. There's like a million things shes said in the almost year we've known each other that im like I wonder if that's a lie.
Meanwhile I was always telling her every little thing I was doing so she didnt worry, she didnt ask me too I just did it cause she'd mentioned people being s-----y in the past.

In her message shes like its not you youre amazing I just want to be alone right now, I feel so stupid for doing this to you.

    Sure you do lady lol

Clipse - Let God Sort Em Out

Overall I really loved this record, with h--- Hath No Fury so fresh in my mind it was very fun to have a direct comparison. I will say what I felt was gonna happen did happen where I actually like this record a lot more!

Even though a lot of it is still coke rap there's a maturity and evolved skill to the writing of this record Pusha and Malice are at their A-Game, and there's nothing more apparent to that than the opening song. The entire track is heartbreaking but the ending lyrics of "Remember those who lost their mother's and fathers, and make sure that every moment you have with them you show them love" hit me like a truck lol. Relatable not to myself but I've lost my aunt and uncle and seeing my cousins talk about how they don't have either of there parents anymore f---s me up.

All Things Considered with Pusha talking about a miscarriage although brief puts a certain weight on this album that I didn't feel as heavily previously, this doesn't mean the record is without its fun. h--- I would argue most of this record is still fun!

I don't dislike any song but the entire run up to Ace Trumpets is crazy, basically every feature did their thing. May have a small bias but Kendrick and Tyler were highlights, Nas did great as per usual and the Stove God hook was very fun.

Some of the hooks didn't work for me 100% but I can see them growing on me, I felt the same about the P.O.V. hook and now I really like it! It's just when some songs switched the beat to fit the vibe of the hook just to go back into the normal production that it felt a little off to me (speaking of beat switches the one for P.O.V. with Malice was great, he killed that verse)

I'm usually not consistently the hugest fan of Pharrells production even though I respect the huge amount of talented, just isn't for me a lot of the time. That being said he produced his a--- off on the album, I like just about every beat and it sounds fresh for both him and Clipse. I have a feel this record in all aspects is kinda future proofed to age pretty well in the future.

Glad we made this a special event and that we had the previous album picked cause this was a huge blindspot for me and now I've listened to one of the stronger projects released this year so far!

Favorite Songs: The Birds Don't Sing, Chains & Whips, P.O.V., So Be It, Ace Trumpets, M.T.B.T.T.F., F.I.C.O.

    RATING
    9/10

Sorry to hear about this man s--- like this always sucks. Trying your absolute best to accommodate another person just for their response to be a generic "idk if this is working" is awful. A lot of the time people are too comfortable in their own shortcomings that when people are actually around them trying to be a positive part of their lives they do some weird s---.

For example there's one time I tried telling a friend that she was obviously in an emotionally abusive relationship with a druggie that could turn physical and that she was being an idiot by staying around him, she agreed with me then said she needed to work on herself then proceed to stay with the guy and block me on everything LMAO

Clipse - Let God Sort Em Out

    review

I’ve been insanely hyped for this record since it was first announced. It is probably the album that I looked forward to the most this year; the wait was torture and the anticipation through the roof. Well, I’m happy to say that these guys delivered big time.

Everybody and their grandmas already know about how consistently great Pusha is, so if there was any sliver of doubt about this project being mediocre it was, personally, about Pharrell’s production or the tiniest possibility of Malice not showing up with the bars because of how long the duo had been inactive. How absolutely amazing is it that all three of these guys showed up, killed this s--- and thus created one of the best rap albums I’ve heard in years.

Everything about this project is a show of mastery and synergy. The album is 40 minutes long, if you ask me that’s the perfect length that allows for so much replayability: the tape is so viciously entertaining.

The quotable verses are complemented with stellar beats that fit Push and Malice like a glove and help make the duo’s great writing a true star of this release. Clipse are so natural at this rapping s---, the effortlessness that permeates this record makes me feel bad for all the up-and-coming rappers coming into the industry having to compete with the likes of Malice and Push. It is unfair.

I loved listening to this thing. The stank face was permanent, at times reaching states of sentience and developing cocaine cravings of its own. Everyone definitely knew what to expect from this project content wise, and, for the most part, what we all expected is what we got (ain’t noone complaining cause you don’t see it done at this level often enough).

My only gripes would be the Pharrell hooks and at times the pacing of the album but that’s just me being a nitpicking b------. The album is great, definitely one of the best rap releases of the decade so far.

I listened to this album so many times already. It’s unreal how hard it bangs in the car. By the end of the year I’ll have probably started a cartel due to the Clipse influences. So happy to have these guys back doing their thing. They made a good year for music infinitely better.

    9.5/10

Let God Sort Em Out - Clipse REVIEW

    Score: 9.0

    Review:
AOTY so far, what more can I say? I will admit though, on first listen, I didn’t think it was up to where h--- Hath No Fury, but having time to sit with it, I think it’s just as good! The production throughout is some of the best I’ve heard this year, and dare I say the decade? The features all did their part too, was super cool seeing Kendrick, Tyler, and Nas all on this album. Would’ve liked to hear more from Stove God Cooks though. This is pure hip hop at its finest, you wouldn’t think these artists have been around for so long or are the ages they are because this project just sounds so forward thinking and refreshing. Projects like this remind me why I love the genre so much.

    Pulp – Different Class

Finally got around to this one. Big thanks to @Jimmy Jazz for picking it; this was a fun listen. Jarvis Cocker is such a character. The whole album has this sly, awkward charm to it, like he’s narrating the lives of people you’d never admit to being. Super catchy, dramatic in the best way, and way more playful than I expected. Some songs didn’t land for me, but the highs are really high.

On another note, @Justin Trudeau sorry I haven’t had the energy to keep up with all the review deadlines lately; new job’s been keeping me busy. Still glad to jump in when I can. And yes I have made my pick.

I’m really sorry to hear that, man. Long distance can be tough in every way; emotionally, mentally, and sometimes just plain confusing. It’s rough when someone flips like that, especially if she said she didn’t see a future with you after only a few days of reflection. That kind of shift says more about where she’s at than anything you did.

You’ll find someone else, hopefully someone local so you don’t have to deal with this kind of situation again. I was in a long distance thing once when I was younger, and when I broke it off, she kind of lost it. Looking back, she was pretty narcissistic, but I didn’t fully see it until I got older and she got worse.

Point is, I get how hard it is to keep something like that going, only to have it fall apart for reasons that feel senseless. It’s frustrating, but you’re not alone in this. People are especially flakey nowadays and that doesn’t help either.
