Yes, the CGI in this movie was f---ing phenomenal. A lot of people complained about the CGI with Franklin but I think it could’ve looked a LOT worse. I didn’t think it was that bad

I know more about movies, there is nothing to justify any of their existences and all it does is s--- the air out of theaters and the box office to leave no more room to movies that actually have merit.

Anyways F4 was pretty good! All the set design and use of miniatures and stuff like really carried for me.

Did a good job at making a big problem still have smaller stakes. Funnily enough this movie has similar strengths and weaknesses as Superman to me.

People had doubts Marvel studios could make a great F4 movie after decades of bad ones. People doubt they could make Deadpool work in the MCU. People doubt they could make Tobey & Andrew work. They proven themselves that with a good director and actual care for the characters, the MCU is the best cinematic universe. Gives me hope they will get the X-men reboot right!

The things I didn’t like about Superman are the things that worked best for me in F4. But the things F4 lacked are better done in Superman. They are very similar tho, so I can’t even be mad at DC fans that like Superman more. I just think F4 looks way better and was more entertaining for me. Also a much stronger first act. That’s why I gave Supes a 8/10 and this a 9/10.

I liked Superman more but I'm more ingrained in Supes stuff than F4 so the relief that I felt when I liked the movie was second to none lol.

Can definitely see this being the same way for big F4 fans
