Dec 28, 2025 at 8:09 PM As big as eminem is. Imagine instead of devils night we got a solo album. Benzino never leaked half of encore and we got the version it was fully meant to be. Then we get the 2005/6 album (whatever that was) then relapse 1 & 2 (then recovery) . And it truly seemed like revival was supposed to be an entirely different album due to the way it was promoted . Not sure what went on there. But it really seemed like left overs from a different albums and some random add one.

Dec 29, 2025 at 5:33 AM With Revival, I think it all sounded like 'Believe' and 'Arose'. Even though 'Arose' is not rappity rap, it's similar tonality and density; and both are similar (as odd as this sounds) to his 'No Favors' verse. Not in content, but in STYLE (before anyone just quotes him listing s--- like LOL HOW IS THIS THE SAME), but listen to that 'No Favours' verse, it's very similar to 'Believe' rapping, and... 'Chloraseptic' (not the remix). I think he had a whole new style there, and was using that verse to preview it. As he tends to, just like 'Richard' for MMLP2... But, when it got trassssshhhheed, I think he panicked and rush-recorded imitations of 'Recovery' and 'MMLP2' @ 'Like Home', 'Heat' etc. which explains why the writing of them is lazy, just like whatever puns popped into his head, and the beats and hooks are phoned-in samples, it all feels rushed and just like he was ilke 's--- they're gonna trash this! leme just make a bunch of s--- they already like!'. Because the style and density of like 'Believe' and even 'Chloraspetic', as stupid as the content is... is similar, it sounds like a new style and it's actually really good writing, as is 'No Favours'; everyone just clowns the list thing but the writing is good, and his delivery... He's so insecure. He's ruined at least a few albums now by doing that @ recording stupid s--- for 'Encore' last minute, ditching R2 in panic due to response, And then - IMO/theory - f---ing up 'Revival' by rush recording/replacing a lot of the original tracks. He's too dumb to realise why the 'No Favors' verse got trashed though, just thinking it was how he sounded vs. that list segment which people clowned, so then he overreacts and trashes it all. - Walk on Water - Believe - Chloraseptic - Untouchable - Offended - Castle - Arose I think all those were original 'Revival' songs. No coincidence they're the best tracks, and pretty much everything else is trash and imitations of 'Recovery' & 'MMLP2'. And even 'Relapse' with 'Framed', which, as much as I love 'Relapse', that song just feels forced so it doesn't hit right.
Dec 29, 2025 at 6:00 AM the only leaked songs that should have been on Encore were Love You More and We As Americans. Monkey See, Can-I-b----, Bully, Come On In, Hailies Revenge should never have even been thought of as album tracks. They are all mixtape tracks at best. So whether they leaked or not it would hardly make a difference, still wouldn’t have been a good/great album. We probably would have still gotten Puke, Mosh, Just Lose It, Encore, One Shot 2 Shot, and other s-----y songs regardless.

On the other hand, it would've been a smarter move to release the album at the same time period as the game. But if it is something like that, I hope the Ego song with T.I. is on there. But I guess Jeff Bass did that, so I'm dreaming.
Dec 29, 2025 at 7:39 AM i thought it was one of nate’s friends? bully is definitely on the same level as love you more and we as americans you’re right and i was super excited about that style because it felt like a natural progression from mmlp2, xv and southpaw, all of which i loved despite that being an unpopular opinion. there were rumors he scrapped the album he was working on to make revival instead. idk what happened to him in 2016/2017 but his music just totally went to h---. i say this all the time but tdoss+fuel rmx+animals is the first time he’s sounded like himself to me since at least medicine man. listening to the subsequent features, like no favors, k--- for you, revenge, etc, despite some bright spots here and there, was like watching a train crash in slow motion. i’m glad it seems like he finally realized what the problem was

Dec 29, 2025 at 10:35 AM I think it’s great. I’d rate it as the best Benzino diss track he did. Everything after that was just pretty much repeating the same things. The Sauce, Nail in the Coffin, Love You More and We As Americans are the last tracks we got from prime 00-02 Eminem. After that the drug flow and voice slowly started creeping in, starting with Don’t Push Me, Patiently Waiting, Smack You, the later Ja and Bezino disses, and then eventually the Encore stuff. He should have just left the Benzino stuff after Nail in the Coffin, and started focusing on his next album throughout 03 instead of spending almost the entire year trying to be Tupac and pretending to be a member of G-Unit.
