The vinyl release of The Marshall Mathers LP has the Steve Berman skit completely separated from the song due to them being on separate sides. I think Curtain Call had a similar thing going on where they used the album mix of Sing For The Moment and you had the Superman fade in at the end. Also a fun fact, the promo vinyl for The Way I Am has a different version of the instrumental, it has no vinyl crackle throughout the song but the instrumental released on CD promos and singles has the album mix instrumental with the sound effects.
Jan 10, 2026 at 11:46 AM I don’t think it’s bad either. The beat during the verses does not mesh with the hook at all. It feels like two different songs combined into one. I feel like if the song had a somewhat energetic trap production to it then could have worked.
