This turned out to be not true man

Bly was absolutely beautiful. I mean, I thought HH could have used a little more horror, Bly only had a few actual creepy horror scenes -so I get the warning- but the constant idea of something happening (hence the comparison to Halloween Ends) mixed with amazing storytelling blew me away. This is above all a drama / love story sprinkled with some horror. HH definitely was more a horror story than this even if it was more drama as well.

Hill House ended with closure, not so much with answers. I was surprised Bly actually did reveal the back story. I kinda hated and loved the ending (bittersweet) but overall this was great.

House of Usher, Hill House, Bly... count me in as a Flanagan fan except MM. Might give it another chance though because I want more lmao. Hopefully we will get that in the future another chapter. Don't compare them though they are very different.

Is midnight club also good? Also noticed Doctor Sleep is from him and Stephen King.

I gave HH a 9/10 earlier but honestly, it's a 10/10 for me and so is Bly. Perfect, both.

I never watched Midnight Club but I hear it's his weakest cause of some Netflix meddling or something like that, I still need to watch it tho. Doctor Sleep and Geralds Game are great movies from him. Excited to watch The Life Of Chuck and his new Exorcist movie. He just finished making a Carrie show for Amazon too that's supposed to come out soon.

Glad you enjoyed Bly! I still enjoy it but it definitely is a little more under the radar than some of his other work
