Its indicative of him not actually being like that. He finds it funny because its absurd and crazy. Its nothing but twisted humor.

He has built up walls he can’t break down because he’s too scared of what’s on the other side. It’s made him numb and a husk of his former self. I know what it’s like, I used to be like that too.

Jan 30, 2026 at 7:13 PM He could. It would take more guts and responsibility than he’s willing to invest, though. I’m alone in defending Revival usually, but this is why I do it. Because I believe he tried vulnerability there, and I love that album for that reason. He got smacked down hard for it, and I think that left a permanent scar. We’ve seen little emotionally similar stuff since, with a few exceptions.
