Jan 31, 2026 at 4:14 PM You should never wish death on anyone. That’s come gonna come back and haunt you real bad. Look what’s happened to Justin Trudeau. I suggest you take it back.
Jan 31, 2026 at 4:15 PM Wow what a walk down memory lane that revival recap was. Thanks JLG. I have grown a little fonder of revival lately. Listened to it today. Might even pass as ok.
Jan 31, 2026 at 4:15 PM Imagine the following: His love life imploded that year (2017). (His own doing, btw, which should surprise nobody.) Revival was an attempt to put things back together, not just romantically but personally. Trump had just gotten into the White House, remember? The entire world was a shitshow. Everyone was on edge. Marshall was a wreck. There was a personal catastrophe; the ex came through for him. Things slowly stabilized. Soon they improved. By early fall Revival took on a more solid form, with got rough start, though; remember the aborted rollout? The ex was a recovering addict too; she didn't like the pill/meds theme he was building on; it caused some friction on top of the already tottery mess, so it got scrapped halfway through and we got what we got. His girl loved it. But because it's his nature to f--- up every romantic relationship he stumbles into, soon he was back in the shithouse. The end.
Jan 31, 2026 at 4:24 PM i remember hearing medicine man on compton in august of 2015 a month after speedom knd and phenomenal thinking my god, this man has transcended space and time. then some months went by and i figured he was working on a total b-----r of an lp that would incorporate all the deliveries and storytelling techniques he’d been toying with on xv and southpaw. then k--- for you dropped. along with my heart. i knew sumn happened but i still don’t know what. not sure i care anymore either. just glad he’s back
Jan 31, 2026 at 4:28 PM I think I’m in the rare camp of Em fans where Revival hasn’t improved at all since release, I actually think it’s gotten worse. Believe, Chloraseptic, and Castle are its only good songs to me. agree with the person screenshot who thought Like Home should’ve been the first single, though.
Jan 31, 2026 at 4:29 PM Nah I'm in the same boat brother. Can't listen to the album without skipping so many tracks.
Jan 31, 2026 at 4:43 PM I made revival garbage on purpose. How can you have another peak, without a decline? You know how I roll b----, I’m a Avalanche
Jan 31, 2026 at 4:47 PM You c---- must be out of your labias And God is my alias, so if I don't have faith in me Then it basically makes me an atheist
Jan 31, 2026 at 4:50 PM I just assumed he had a midlife crisis and finally plunged himself fully into the depths of the Dark Web for good, never to return to polite society again. Hopefully I'm wrong though and he found some friends his own age.
Jan 31, 2026 at 4:52 PM alright, i take it back, i wish you immortality and riches beyond your wildest dreams. that work better for you? feel free to point me to the bars in question, but there’s one line on there that always stuck with me. “let’s see the main reason that i complain beef etc cuz when i look at me i don’t see what they see.” i always remembered that line for some reason. it’s just so… human
